A flexible solar panel is designed for harsh conditions, but attaching it is often challenging. With this rack, it works simply, and effortlessly. The rack is attached directly to 25mm boat rails, or another horizontal pipe. The product is designed so that the rack enters the inside of the handrail by about 10cm, which allows the panel to fit upright next to the inside of the boat. The stand can be turned so that the panel can be adjusted upwards from the handrail. This feature allows the panel to be oriented to the sun almost always. The stand is made of strong 316L acid-resistant low-carbon steel, making it sturdy enough for any weather, and salt water is never a problem.
The panel is attached to the rack by drilling 2 holes of about 6.5 mm in each attachment point, and the panel is locked to the rack with the bolts and nuts that come along. The panel is fastened between two pieces of plastic to prevent it from cracking even at high seas.
